Georgiana had missed Pemberly when she had been in London. Her first weeks back from London had been strange, to return home not just to a brother but now to a sister. Elizabeth fascinated her. The way she spoke to her brother, it was different from the way any other woman had ever spoken to him in her presence. Georgiana was even more fascinated though by the way Elizabeth treated her. Miss Bingley had always been nice to Georgiana, but it had been different, superficial. Elizabeth knew what Georgiana had been through, but she did not judge her for it. Elizabeth talked often with Georgiana, not about what had happened, but about love. Elizabeth made Georgiana feel loved. Her brother had always given her everything, and it had always been evident that he loved her, but this was a different love. Elizabeth showed Georgiana the selfless caring love of a mother, and of a sister. Georgiana did not like having Elizabeth at Pemberly, she loved it, and through Elizabeth she grew to be better than she had ever been before.
