I own absolutely nothing, this is just me jumping on the KA drabble bandwagon. This is the first of what I imagine will be many drabbles based on the fifteen years of service of the Sarmatian Knights and will be posted in no particular order. I've never done drabbling (? lol) before so any feedback I can get will be beyond appreciated! Also if anyone has any requests or suggestions let me know and I'll do what I can :) thanks!
Dagonet: Healing Hands
It had taken Elyan five hours to pass and he had moaned and whimpered right up until his last breath. The arrow that had killed him should not have but the Roman healer did not desire to waste his medicines on a Sarmatian boy, and so Dagonet had to watch his young friend suffer and die when he could have easily been saved.
Lancelot had wanted to slay the healer where he stood when he discovered the truth of Elyan's death; Dagonet had barely tempered his dark friend's hand or those of Bedwyr and Tristan who wished to do the same. In the end it was a quiet statement made by the gentle giant that appeased his brothers' anger and fears:
"The Romans may not wish to care for us, but I shall. I will heal where they will not."
