Alexandria a.k.a Alex looked at the book in front of her with her tears staining the pages and freely falling down her cheeks. She knew that he was somewhere. He was so angry when he left. She tried to stop him, but she couldn't get through to him. She could never get through to him. She got through to Achilles as accepting Connor as his student and she always thought that she could get through to Connor, but she guessed she was wrong. He was one of the reason she had a reason to live and the only important man in her life, besides Achilles. Achilles was like a father to her and she cared for him deeply. When she first met Connor, she had an instant attraction to him. She was not taught in the Assassin ways like Connor, but she was always there for him no matter what.
She knew that Connor would do great things with his life, but she was afraid that his anger would override his emotions. She never wanted to lose him.
She always told him that when he was angry he could never react to the way he was feeling. He could never listen to his anger, because it would only lead to disaster.
He never listened to her!
Even when she was right!
She slammed her balled fist down onto the wooden table.
Connor was so stubborn!
The only person that ever loved her back was Achilles. She stood up and wiped the tears from her eyes.
She couldn't believe it.
She was in love with Connor!
She shook her head. She couldn't be. Connor was her best friend. They had been best friends ever since she opened the door to Achilles' house and saw him standing there. She never considered herself being in love with him. She thought that Ezio was in love with her, but she was wrong and he stabbed her in the back. She left Italy and went to Boston to meet Achilles and have a fresh start on life.
She shook her head and closed her eyes.
'No! I'm not going to feel this way!'
"Alexandria,"
The familiar, gentle voice caused her body to tense. She wiped her eyes.
Enough was enough!
She turned and looked at Connor.
