I've been losing motivation to write. My muse has left me. I need to drabble, or whatever you call this. 'Tis what the doctor has prescribed.

Disclaimer: Oh, and before you lawyers get all giddy, I do not own Pitch Perfect.

Warning: Unbeta'd. Too lazy to find one. Oh well.

Beca sighed. It's been a long day at work. With all these new bands and artists her boss is throwing at her, she barely has time to breathe. Don't get her wrong, she loves her job. Working with rising stars truly is great. She loves to help write songs and compose music for them, and they're all very nice, but she can only take so much. She needs a break, especially since most of her clients this time around are girl groups, which always led to drama she wanted no part of. One of which just canceled her last appointment of the day. Thank God. I was about to blow a gasket.

She ran her fingers through her hair and glanced at the clock. 4:35. She perked up a bit. Chloe's still home. She hastily grabbed her things and raced out the door, saying a quick farewell to the receptionist and hopped into her car. She drove home quickly, even though it wasn't that far from work. Finally, she pulled up to the apartment complex. Beca bolted upstairs and struggled with the lock. Stupid, jammed, key-lock thing. I swear I'm gonna ki- Suddenly the door opened to reveal an amused and slightly groggy Chloe. Beca grinned and hugged her immediately. The redhead laughed.

"What's with you and that lock? I can open it just fine."

"It's out to get me, I swear." Chloe giggled.

Beca pulled away a little, wrapping her arms around her girlfriend. She frowned. "Did I wake you?"

Chloe nuzzled against her neck and yawned. "Just a little bit."

"I'm sorry."

"It's alright." Beca shook her head and pulled her lover into the apartment and into the bedroom. She lied down on the bed and pulled Chloe against her. Chloe immediately cuddled up to her girlfriend and hummed happily. The brunette stroked her hair softly and kissed her forehead. "Go back to bed. I'll wake you up later so you can get ready for work." Yes, she said work. Chloe worked the night owl shift at the hospital a few blocks down, which was also the number one trauma center in the state. The two girls hated her hours, but she already asked her boss if she can change them, to which he said he'd look into. But for the moment, they would have to deal with it.

Beca looked down at Chloe, threading her fingers though her fiery mane, smiling when she purred softly in her sleep. They've been dating for a few years now, through the majority of Beca's years in Barden and they were inseparable. Chloe even stayed at Barden for her graduates instead of going to a better school. "I love you so much…" she said as she nuzzled her sleeping beauty. As Beca slowly drifted off to sleep, she couldn't help but think about how lucky she was to have Chloe.

A few hours later

"BEEEECCCCCAAAA! YOU DIDN'T WAKE ME UP! I'M LAAAAAAAATTTTTTTEEEEEEE!"

Shit.
