He first saw the object on his display a few minutes ago during his patrol flight.
It was it´s appearance that confused him the most.
The thing didn´t look like anything that had ever been seen on Earth.
It didn´t have actual wings or a easily recognizable cockpit.
The entire form was completely alien, like nothing he had ever seen before and he had seen much. It was a eccentric and bizare design that didn´t exist anywhere else in the galaxy.
After a few minutes the object crossed his course and was now visible with his own eyes.
It however continued on it´s way and passed him without paying much more attention to him and after a short time later it was gone from his radar.
Strange, he thought, this experimental earth-jet was about the most outlandish thing he had ever seen.
"Hey Thundercracker, Thundercracker do you hear me?" He noticed Skywarp´s voice coming over his comm.
"Yes Skywarp I do", he answered.
"You haven´t replied to my last call."
"Sorry, I have gotten distracted."
"Is everything okay?"
"Yes, everything´s alright. I return to the base. I´ve just seen the strangest thing Warp, I can´t wait to tell you about it."

"Lieutenant Baker to flight-control", the human pilot was sending a call.
"Here flight control, what had happened?"
"I have just seen something that seemed to look like a old F15, probably a Decepticon jet."
"Nothing unusual then."
"No, nothing really unusual. The test flight is going as planned."
