A/N: Marc, Betty, and Amanda are at their best when they're together, aren't they?

Playing Hooky

"So you never skipped school as a kid? Ever?!"

Betty sighed as she looked up at the two troublemakers leaning on her desk. It was one of those rare, slow day at Mode... which meant Marc and Amanda had plenty of time to torture her. "Marc, don't you have anything to do? I'm sure Wilhelmina left you some work..."

"She hasn't skipped," Amanda nodded.

"So sad," Marc tilted his head to the side, and eyed Betty with a pitying look. "What kind of kid never skips school?"

Amanda leaned close, and stage whispered in Marc's ear. "I don't think she ever was a kid."

"Very funny, Amanda," Betty deadpanned, as she pulled out a file. "Please, just go away guys. Daniel left me a ton of research to do on this designer in Madr-"

Marc yawned, loudly. "Boooring!" He stared at Amanda. "You thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Totally. Betty, you have to give me one of your doughnuts..."

"No!" An exasperated Marc rolled his eyes, then grabbed Betty's arm and hauled her up from her chair. "We're going to play hooky. Right now."

"Marc! We'll get fired."

"You might, but I won't. Willy loves me too much. Besides, who will she get to give her injections in the office?"
