Disclaimer: I don't own Trigun or the characters here in, but I do own the idea for the story, even though it's not a very good one. Anyway I wrote this for the fun of it, and merely my own personal entertainment. Flames encouraged I can use them to build myself a nice warm fire.
It had been a long day on the planet of Gunsmoke, but it was in no way an ordinary one. Vash had been sitting on the porch with Wolfwood, Meryl, and Milly. Wolfwood looked over to Vash and saw him looking over at Meryl with a kind smile on his face. The priest couldn't resist and almost instantly the teasing began.
"Hey Vash." Wolfwood said, "I saw you flirting with your GIRLFRIEND!"
"Wolfwood! She's not my girlfriend she's just a friend." Vash screamed with a mortified look on his face.
"Then why were you flirting with her?" He asked in a taunting manner, smiling a devious smile.
"I wasn't wolfwood, I was just smiling at her. Why can't I smile at her hmmmm? You always smile at Milly!" Vash stammered pushing himself away from next to Meryl.
"I saw you buddy, and that my friend was NOT just a regular old friendly smile." Wolfwood could barely contain the smile on his face.
"What ever Wolfwood!" Vash turned his back and gave Wolfwood the cold shoulder.
"Okay you two, that's enough." Meryl chimed in. She turned towards our favorite humanoid typhoon, getting a good idea. She decided that if he really was trying to flirt that she should try to embarrass him the best she could.
"So Vash, how are you today?" She asked in a flirtatious manner, batting her eyes.
"Well…um…I'm fine…ya um just fine." He answered shakily. He could hear Wolfwood singing under his breathe….
"Vash and Meryl sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G."
I can't believe him, Vash thought to himself. He can be so immature, well than again so can I. So far through this whole conversation Milly said nothing, she just sat innocently listening and laughing at the lot of them. Wolfwood noticed that and looked over at her. She smiled and he smiled back. Vash had happened to catch this and smiled a deviously clever smile to himself.
"Ohhh oh ohh, what is this? Why are you flirting with your girlfriend Wolfwood?" Vash snickered to himself.
"What? I was just smiling at her! What's wrong with that?" Wolfwood asked, kind of peeved at how Vash was using his own taunting methods against him.
"I dunno, you tell me! When I smiled at Meryl you jumped at the idea that she was my girlfriend! SO HA! How do you like them apples?" Vash yelled in triumph over his defeating of wolfwood and struck a pose to further help his victory. Wolfwood just scowled at him and sat back on the porch and sighed, so he had been defeated this time. He would make sure that this never happened again. Milly laughed again and Meryl just sat there, thinking quietly to himself while Vash and wolfwood went through a series of weird victory poses while throwing insults about like candy spewing out of a piñata. And so another boring day in the lives of are two favorite kick ass guys.
