In the beginning, there was Life. After, because all things that begin must end, there was Death. And then there was Struggle.

Their fights were epic in proportion and endless in time. Life created stars, and Death ended them as black holes. Life created galaxies and Death ended them just the same.

Life grew tired of the endless struggle, but wasn't willing to end Death by giving up. So, Life created Intelligence.

Death saw intelligence and, ever the clever one, showed Intelligence his true self. Intelligence learned Fear.

Life showed Intelligence Love, so that Fear would not take over.

Death, frustrated, began to End intelligence. Life gave Intelligence the ability to reproduce, to keep Death at bay.

Death then taught Intelligence to destroy by harnessing the power of Death. Life showed Intelligence how to enjoy living, so to try to avoid Death.

Intelligence, tired of the whimsy of Life and Death, used the powers of both to create Rules, and bind Life and Death to Time itself.

And the Struggle continued.

Time passed and Intelligence learned to grow. Humanity, Intelligence's latest manifestation, Began.

Humanity, knowing only Struggle thrived in its existence. But the war between Life and Death was not ended; it was changed.

Life, ever the builder, gave Humanity Magic, the power to build, change and shape reality to Humanities whims. Death, always chasing the tail of Life, gave Magic the power to destroy, remove and unmake reality.

Humanity, seeing only the Struggle and not realizing the consequences, took Magic and blended the Dark and Light and used it for its own ends.

As consequence of trying to bring order to Magic, Fate was created.

Fate Predicted that Life would eventually end, and then so would Death.

Life and Death, seeing the power of Fate, forced Magic to a lesser form and agreed to give it limits that could not be broken.

Life, wanting Magic to be fun and whimsical, gave humanity the ability to manipulate their own energy based on their expectations on how it should work. However, Life also made this inner Magic to be reliant on many different external sources such as the stars themselves, in order to keep things alive and interesting.

Death, seeing life make magic whimsical and absurd, created alchemy just to be contrary, but left Life's magic alone.

Fate, unable to affect Life and Death any more than it already had began to meddle with Intelligence and by extension, Humanity.

Thus, Harry Potter was born.
