My Jigsaw Trap
II
A woman wakes up and she is scared. She sees nothing but Darkness. She feels herself hanging in mid-air as she feels something wrapped around her wrists, holding them together. Soon the lights in the room turn on. The lights were big searchlights on the floor of the room, plus lights on the ceiling. The big searchlights blinded the woman and she looked up to see handcuffs were attached to her wrists and the walls. She looked down to see that she was hanging above a pool of green liquid. "Help!" The Woman screamed. She soon heard a woman scream for help too. The voice was familiar to her and she said their name. "Erica, Erica is that you?" The woman asked. "Yeah, what did you do to me?" Erica asked. "Erica, I didn't do this to you." The woman said. "Then who did this?" Erica asked. "I don't know Erica." The woman said. After the two woman questioned who was doing this to them, they both saw a TV turn on, on the wall beside them. The two women saw a white puppet wearing a tuxedo with spirals on its cheeks. The puppet spoke with a deep scary voice to the women.
"Hello Miranda, I want to play a game. You have always judged other just by the way they appear on the outside, you have never taken consideration on what might be on the inside. You have never given those people a chance to show you who they really are. But today, I will give you ONE chance to redeem yourself. By the time this tape is finished, your handcuffs will open and you will fall into the pool of acid below, unless of course you grab onto the chains before you fall. You are not alone in this game Miranda, your closest friend who has also judged others by the way they appear is your key to freedom. As you both hang onto the chains, there is only one way of escape: One's Failure. One of you must fail for the other to survive. So I ask you both: Which one of you will Live and which one will Die? Make Your Choice." The Puppet on the TV said to the two women as the screen went black.
They both screamed as the hand cuffs opened. They both hung on their chains real tight so they wouldn't fall. Miranda was scared, she knew what she had to do to survive, but she didn't want to kill her best friend. But she decided to survive over friendship. She swung forward to try to kick Erica off of her chain. "What the fuck are you doing?" Erica exclaimed. "It's either you or me Erica, and it's defiantly not going to be me!" Miranda screamed. "Fuck you!" Erica screamed as she also started kicking. As the two women kept kicking each other, Miranda thought to herself "This isn't going to work. I'm going to have to try a lot harder." Miranda did use a lot more effort but it didn't do much. She realized that if she wanted to live, she would have to use more desperate measures. She let go of one chain to punch Erica in the face, causing her to let go of the chains and fall into the acid pool. Miranda grabbed onto the one other chain that didn't swing back onto the other wall to her left. She looked down at Erica burning in the acid pool and her skin melting off of her bones. Miranda cried as she saw her best friend die. The acid pool lowered into the floor and the floor closed. The chain that Miranda was holding onto lowered to the floor. The first second that her feet touched the ground, she let go of the chain and ran straight for the escape door. Before she ran out the door, she turned around and looked at the floor where the acid pool lowered into. "I'm sorry Erica, but I wanted to survive." Miranda said. She then ran out of the room through the escape door.
