Lovely Lie
Disclaimer: I don't own Bleach
Beautiful, she was so damn beautiful, unlike his cold and empty world. All he ever knew was emptiness so she brough a change of pace, almost a reason to live. And of course like the selfish person he was, he wanted to keep her all to himself. A creature like him could never know love, but he sure felt possessive. Like the radiant light she was she welcomed him with open arms, not caring that he would eventually drain her of her light. And that he did, his obsession was something out of control, and like all beautiful flowers must, she withered. But till the end she was still so beautiful, even Death didn't have the power to rob her of that Her hair always that vibrant red, was still beautiful even with the kiss of death. Her soft face and grey eyes seemed to keep their beauty, even if her skin was pale and cold; she was still beautiful. With her departure, the emptiness returned, and he felt so damn lost, just so lost. Everything was worse, unlike before when he was empty, he was numb; but now, he felt it, felt this horrible pain in his newly acquired heart, the one she gave him. He just wanted for her to come back, to become his light again. His soul was worthless, sure, but he knew it could maybe buy him a way to bring her back. Insane thoughts took over him, it was unnatural, it was wrong to bring someone back. No one had the right to mess with the balance of life. Yet this poor soul just had to do something, he wanted her back, he'd sell his soul, he would become anything, just to have her back. Days passed and he looked for a way. Never did it cross his mind the consequences of his actions. He made sure to tuck away the lifeless body for when her soul returned to it. It actually looked like she was sleeping. He would find a way to bring her to life, because without her there was only darkness. Delirious with thoughts that they both would be so happy when she returned, he spent his days living with the corpse as if she was still there, but of course she wasn't. When he looked into her vacant empty eyes, he imagined they were shining bright like they used to. My Hime, I will find a way to bring you back to me, he vowed. His search continued and he looked for demons willing to make the exchange, his soul at their servitude for her life.
