As a single tear falls from her eye

She picked up the rose enchanted to last forever. Given to her by her husband before he died. A tear fell from the corner of her eye and fell onto the soft petals.

Another cold day in December
A year from the day she said goodbye

It was exactly a year from the day when Rose Belikov buried her husband Dimitri. Right before he died, he asked Lissa to enchant the rose for his wife. Somehow he knew he wouldn't come home that day.

It seems it's only been a moment
Since the angels took him from her arms

Days felt like years without Dimitri, yet time went by so fast. As if there was nothing to live for anymore. Dimitri had died while protecting Christian. Christian made it out safely thanks to him.

And she was left there

The after-life was just like her and Dimitri's apartment. He sat on the bed waiting for her. He kissed her lips softly.
