Set after The season 2 Finale, Austin has just left for his tour, and Ally has stayed to pursue her music career.
She felt sick to her stomach. She just let him go, the one person she really cared for. She wouldn't see his dark brown eyes, or his adorable smile for 3 months. Her practice room wouldn't echo his beautiful voice, he was gone. She had to accept it, and get over it.
She stood there in the middle of the road, her mouth agape. Her eyes began to swell, the tears were forming. Once she saw the bus turn the corner, she let everything loose. She broke down, the tears were too strong, she couldn't hold them back. She was broken.
Ally Dawson was broken
But she wouldn't cry, she promised him she wouldn't. Ally looked down at her hands, there she held a letter, from him. He had said that this letter would contain everything she needed to know. She ripped open the letter with all the power she had left, the front of the card read "Thinking of you." Ally smiled and opened the letter.
Dear Ally,
If you're reading this, it means you decided to stay in Miami and pursue your dreams. While part of me wishes you all the luck in the world, the other half of me wishes you could have come with me. I just want you to know that I am so proud of you, and I hope you have fun living out your dream. So for a while I've had this gut feeling, that we aren't exactly "Friends" anymore. I'm sorry that I'm to coward to say this to you in person, but I just want to tell you..."
"That I am completely in love with you Ally Marie Dawson."
Ally froze, had she just heard it, or was she imagining it. Was it really him?" She looked up, and met a very familiar pair of chocolate-brown orbs. She grinned none other than Austin Monica moon was standing right in front of her, holding his guitar.
"Did I just hear you correctly?"
"Did you hear me say that I love you?" Austin asked raising an eyebrow.
"Yes"
"Then you heard me correctly, one hundred percent correctly."
As soon as Austin had quit talking, she tackled him in an embrace. Wrapping her arms around his waist, he was engulfed in her sweet strawberry scent. Austin never wanted to let go, he wanted to hold her forever. But all good things must come to an end at some point and Ally had finally let go.
Austin looked at her, "now I just have to know, do you love me too?"
"Austin I-" Ally was avoiding his eyes, he was devastated. She didn't feel the same way. It was like a stab to the heart.
"I knew it, I knew you didn't feel the same way."
Ally just smiled, "I never said that."
Austin felt like jumping for joy, but Ally interrupted him. "But I'm not quite sure how I feel."
As fast as his smile grew, it faded.
Austin eyes grew dark and cold, "Well I hope you have made up your mind by the time I get back." He hit against her arm, and ran into the tour bus, not looking back once.
"Austin wait!" But it was too late, once again she had let him slip through her fingers.
