The little things always spoke volumes as if challenging their size and importance.

He could recall the little things just as clearly as the more important seeming things as he could see the exact shade of a blush upon his lover's face.

The young man could recall the way that the other greeted him so formally yet so sweetly as the smallest hints of emotion could tell so much.

Feliciano could remember habits that developed when he spent time around his other half enough to the point that his older brother complained of the bowing and of the accidental use of Japanese instead of Italian.

The young Italian could help himself when these little habits formed as they reminded him of a place that felt just like home as it contained the only person that he had ever loved quite this way.

He could recall the comfy plushies that made great cuddle buddies to his favorite cuddle buddy of all who insisted that it was improper that Feliciano would crawl into his bed at night to cuddle and to rest.

Feliciano could get used to long, Japanese pajamas though if it meant that he could sleep over at Kiku's house and find a way to sneak into the Japanese man's bed to cuddle and sleep.

He could get used to how Japanese rice differed from his favorite Risotto.

The Italian could learn more about Japanese culture if it meant that he could be closer to Kiku.

Feliciano already loved Cherry Blossom Viewings though only when Kiku was by his side, and he could sneakily intertwine their hands before their hands would fall apart on their way back home once Kiku realized that their hands were clasped together.

Besides Kiku always blushed so cutely whenever Feliciano entwined their fingers.

Feliciano could become fluent in Japanese if it meant that he could spend his time here with Kiku in Japan rather than being home and away from his other half.

He could recall every word that Kiku had spoken to him as if he were hearing them anew and could recall every memory as if it were presently happening.

Feliciano could feel his heart race and his face flush lightly at the thought of all this and so much more.

He wondered though if one day hopefully soon, if he could propose to Kiku and whether he'd say, "Yes."

He hoped so.

Kiku was his everything, and Feliciano could never imagine that changing regardless of how long they both lived and what awaited them.
