June 1st

Yesterday I graduated from the academy. My cousin gave me this journal so I can have a way to remember my training as a genin. My new teammates are Hyuuga Chisaki and Haruno Mizuki. Our sensei is Insei Hoshi. She's a jounin and very level-headed. I think the training will be worth it. Get ready world because Heisoku Ah-hin is on her way!

I ran down the path to the training grounds my team was meeting at. "Oh no I'm going to be so late!" I wailed. 'Oh Yukiro today was not the day to turn off my alarm clock!' I thought crossly. The trees whirled by and suddenly I was bursting into the clearing, skidding to a stop a foot away from ramming into a petite woman with long red hair. She had on a green shirt and black pants and as she turned to me I saw two necklaces with runes etched into them.

"You're late, Ah-hin." She said. I bowed, my blonde bangs falling in front of my eyes.

"Sorry sensei. My cousin thought it would be funny to turn off my alarm. It won't happen again." I replied peeking up at her. She just smiled.

"You must mean Yukiro right? Then don't worry about it for today. Why don't you introduce yourself to your teammates and then we'll fill you in on ourselves." She said. I nodded as I straightened. Behind sensei were two young kunoichi. One was slim and blonde haired with bright blue eyes. The other was raven haired and her pale eyes proclaimed her a Hyuuga clan member.

"Hi. I'm Heisoku Ah-hin." I started. "I live in the Konoha orphanage run by Clint. My only living relatives are Heisoku Yukiro, Heisoku Conner, and Heisoku Kamin. I lost my parents when I was seven. They were murdered by Sound Shinobi." I continued.

"Oh gosh, that's awful about your parents." The blonde girl spoke up. I ducked my head.

"It hasn't gotten any better." I muttered, and then smiled at the girls. "But I live with it. Anyway there isn't much else except I have a bad temper." I said. At this the raven haired girl smiled.

"You're temper is infamous. My brother Neji warned me about it. I'm Hyuuga Chisaki by the way, younger sister to Hyuuga Neji and cousin to Hinata." Chisaki introduced herself. "I'm practical, hardworking and stubborn." She added.

"Then we'll get along well." I grinned.

"I hope so." The blonde girl spoke up and added, "I'm Haruno Mizuki, twin sister of Haruno Sakura and I can be stubborn too."

"Well then, I'm Insei Hoshi and I'll be your Sensei."Hoshi spoke up, digging around in her pockets for something. "I know I have them…Ah-hah!" she exclaimed pulling out a pair of bells that tinkled faintly.

"What do bells have to do with our training?" Mizuki asked, looking thoroughly confused.

"You three have to get these bells away from me before sun down tomorrow." Hoshi explained. "And if you don't, it's back to the academy for you." She added grinning.

"What?!"Mizuki, Chisaki, and I exclaimed in unison.

"You can't be serious! I just got the rank of genin! I'm not going back to the academy!" I protested. Hoshi simply smirked.

"Well then better get busy, ne?" she asked before suddenly disappearing in a cloud of smoke.
