(Disclaimer! why do i have to keep doing that even though we all know i don't own sonic?)

"Metal grab my hand" Sonic yelled as he was trying to get his robotic twin out of a volcano.

"Don't do it Sonic" Knuckles yelled at him trying to keep Sonic away from Metal thinking that he would bring Sonic down with him.

"Metal please, just grab my hand" Sonic yelled as tears started showing. (Yes I know there in a volcano but still!)

Metal saw his twin crying, he knew he had to or eals Sonic would blame himself if he died. He couldn't let that happen, he couldn't stand seeing Sonic like this. He made his way up towards Sonic reaching out to garb his hand. Sonic came closer even with Knuckles hanging onto him try to stop him and grabbed Metals hand and started pulling him up.

"Sonic stop he might try to pull you in"

"No! He wouldn't do that now help me get him outa here Knuckles" Sonic yelled with tears in his eyes making knuckles shocked. Sonic started getting out of the volcano with Knuckles help also making his way with Metal right at his side. Soon all three of them and Sonic put Metals arm over his shoulder pulling him along. Everyone stared in shock at the sight not believing what they were seeing.

"Tails help Metal well yeah" Sonic shouted as tears started to fall afraid that he might lose Metal. Tails stared at Metal for a minute before making his way over to them. From the look of Metal he would have to go back to his workshop to even began to make progress on fixing him. He and Sonic made there way that the plane and got in making there way back home leaving a bunch of shocked people behind to stare at the now disappearing plane.

Tails made his way into the workshop as Sonic laid Metal down every carefully on the metal table. Tails instantly went to work, it took five hours to fix up Metal and Sonic was there by Metals side the whole time watching to make sure he would be ok. Of course Metal kept telling him he was fine but Sonic didn't listen he stayed there. (Right like in the movie Metal has a mind link with Sonic, but he can't talk at lest in the movie I don't think he can talk so i'm doing it that way ;P)

"Thank you Tails we owe you big time" Sonic said as he put his arm around Metals shoulder leaning against him. "After all Metal looks brand new again". Metal nodded in response.

"Sonic can I talk to you over there, with out Metal" Tails said as looked over at Metal. Sonic got off of Metal and left to go speak with Tails in the other room.

"What is it Tails, you seem worried about something".

"Sonic I don't think we can trust Metal after all didn't he just try to kill you a few hours ago" Tails almost yelled.

"Tails I think we can trust him after all did he try to pull me into that volcano while he still had a chance"

"No, but still Sonic he could try to kill us again or even try to destory-"

"Tails I said we could trust him and I mean it" Sonic said cutting of Tails also sending him a quick glare. Tails just nodded his head and sighed as he walked out of the room with Sonic following closely be hide him. Metal looked at the two as they came in and walked over to Sonic.

'What happened' Metal asked as he followed Sonic over to his bedroom.

"Tails didn't trust you, but I think I convenience him that your on our side now" Sonic said as he lied down on his bed with a smirk on his face. Metal joined him as he watched Sonic slowly fall a sleep, as Metal powered down to join Sonic in his slumber. Tails was watching the whole thing unfold and smiled thinking that made, just maybe they actually be able to trust Metal.
