Klaxons went off as the Senshi of Mercury had went into labor. Something
was wrong, but the Senshi ignored it. Marie Mizuno asked about this but the
other Senshi just said to ignore it. With that, The woman went to help her
daughter deliver her child. The Senshi outside sighed, "You know this one
is going to be hard to deal with." Venus commented. Jupiter shook her head,
"Not if we care for her and try to steer her clear of her father's ways. If
we are careful, we can keep the darkness in her hidden." A cry escaped the
silence of the room. "And it begins"
Marie gazed at her sleeping daughter and her infant girl. She remembered what had happened just a few hours ago. The Senshi had told her afterwards what her Grandaughter was part of. She was shocked but then was told what she could do to help. She shook her head, hearing the tiny child in the incubator start to cry. She lifted th tiny blue haired child and rocked her back and forth. The tiny girl looked up into her grandmother's eyes, her sapphire orbs sparkling with an unknown energy. Marie sighed, "I really hope that Ami can handle this little one...She's going to have a rough childhood...with her parent's fighting constantly...In a way, Sounds like Ami will have this memorised on how to deal with this." She thought back to when her and David Anderson fought about their daughter constantly. This would be the same...but worse, Sense little Kayla Ani was half human. Marie still coulden't shake that fact. But, that was what Kayla was destaned to be, She would help her daughter with her as much as she could.
Four and a half years later...
"Mom...We HAVE to find her before her father does! If he finds her...We may never see her again." Sobbed a hysterical Ami. Kayla had been kidnapped two and a half years ago and haden't turned up sense. "Sh...If he had her, we would have known...But this, I just hope she is alive. She's only 4 years old Ami, You never know what might have happened to her?" Marie consuled her daughter softly. A soft knock sounded at the door before Minako poked her head in, "Um...I have something for you to see Ami." Ami looked up, her eyes rimmed with red from crying every day for a good part of the last year. Slowly, a tiny blue haired girl walked in. Her clothing was almost tattered to the point of seeing everything on the child. She spoke softly, the dark sapphire eyes timidly shineing, "Mommy? Can I come home now?" Time seemed to stop for Ami as she heard those words, 'What did she mean by that....Wait...This HAS to be Kayla!' Suddenly, Mother and Daughter were in a tight hug, both crying depreatly, begging this wasn't a dream. Marie smiled lightly and excused herself as she left the room and started towards home.
A few hours later, Ami layed in bed next to her sleeping daughter. Kayla had begged to sleep with Ami and Ami, being just so happy she was back home, relented and allowed the request. Kayla whimmpered in her sleep, the dark energy in her riseing in her sleep. Ami had noted this happening to the child ever sense she was born. She guessed sense the child was not Allowed to show her dark side, this was the way to let it free for a few hours. Slowly, Ami drew her little princess into her arms and drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
