ATTENTION: If you are reading this without reading The Unlucky Chosen you must turn back and read the other story.
Sadly I still don't own Harry Potter. I'm sad to say my request has been denied…again.
Oh well hope you all enjoy.
A Fighting Chance
" In my dreams is the only place that we can ever seem to be together. In my dreams we hide and are never disturbed, and in my dreams my dearest love I have gone and made you mine." Neville thought to himself as he explored the room from which Pansy had been taken for what felt like the hundredth time. His friends had all left him alone up here so they could go get help but that didn't fell like enough. He didn't think anyone would be able to help him. His life had made a turn for the worse and right now he didn't know whether or not he could take it. The void that Ginny had caused him by leaving him had been filled when he had realized he loved Pansy, and now the void had returned.
Neville heard people running up the stairs that lead to the room he was in, but he didn't care. He didn't move he stood there staring around at the wreckage and felt himself dying. He felt like his mind and body were slipping into a ceaseless torrent of death and despair but he was still stuck in the living.
" Mr. Longbottom, I think it best of you leave and let the Auror's do their job." Professor Snape said and Neville nodded. He didn't show his usual fear of the potions master; he wasn't shaking or stuttering he was simply doing as he was told.
Neville walked down the stairs and back towards Gryffindor common room. He couldn't concentrate one anything except beginning to find Pansy. That was the most important thing to him. He needed to find the only thing that could make him whole again.
Pansy awoke in a dark and dank room with a headache. She opened her eyes to look around but found she couldn't see anything but a pair of dark green eyes right in front of her. She tried to jump back but her arms and legs were chained to the wall.
" There's no use in trying to run Pansy. You're never going to get away. I'm going to make sure that you stay mine…forever." Flint said and he smiled when he heard the gasp that escaped his little loves lips.
" Marcus?" Pansy asked timidly hoping she was hearing things. She didn't want to believe that the man she had been with for four years had actually kidnapped her.
" Yes my flower it's me. I'm sorry I had to do this, but I couldn't let him have you. I need you Pansy…. you're all that I have. Everything that matters to me in this life." He said placing a kiss to her forehead before leaving the room.
Pansy leaned her head back against the wall and began to cry thinking about everything that was happening. She wished she had never gone out with Marcus Flint in the first place, but now she didn't think she would ever see the light of day again. Not without having to pay some horrible price. She thought of all of her friends and then of Neville. This thought made her cry harder as she realized that she would never see him again, never hear his goofy laugh, or touch him again. She realized that now that she was a prisoner of love she would never be allowed to see the people she cherished ever again.
This is the sequel to The Unlucky Chosen. The above part is just a little interest grabber and it tells you one of the villains from the story before. I hope you enjoy this one as much as people seem to have enjoyed the last one. Thanks for reading everyone!
