"Professor, when is Luke going to be here? Shouldn't he of been here by now?" Flora said to the professor.
"He'll be here any moment Flora. He's only 5 minutes late." Layton smiled at the girl and went on reading the paper.
Luke and his parents were finally coming out for a visit after 6 months of living in America.
And this time, Luke was going to stay with Flora and Layton.
Suddenly, there were two knocks on the door and Flora yelled out
"Professor! He's here Professor!"
Layton went over to the door and opened it revealing Luke standing there holding his bags.
"Luke my boy! Please come in. Flora and I have been really looking forward to seeing you. Where are your parents?"
Luke came in and set his bags down in the living room and turned to the professor.
"My parents went to go check into the hotel. Thanks for letting me come back and stay here with you Professor." Luke smiled at Layton and went over to hug him. "I missed you."
Layton patted Luke on the back and pulled out of the hug. "I missed you too, Luke."
All of a sudden Flora ran over to Luke and hugged him nearly knocking him over.
"LUKE!" Flora exclaimed. "I missed you so much! How was America?"
Luke hugged her tightly and pulled out of her grasp." I missed you too Flora. Although America was lovely, I'd rather have been here with you."
Flora smiled at Luke and hugged him one last time before walking into the kitchen to start on dinner.
"Luke, why don't you go unpack and then come down when you're done and we can have some tea."
"Sure. Be back soon."
Luke picked up his bags and headed upstairs. As he got upstairs and opened the door to his room, he looked around and said to himself "Hasn't changed a bit." He finished unpacking his things and sat down on his bed, picking up a picture from his nightstand and smiling at it. It was from when Flora, the Professor and himself went to the festival in Dropstone. He placed it back on his nightstand and stood up, heading for the door he looked back at the picture one last time and said
"I'm finally home."
Feeling the happiest he's been in 6 months, he went downstairs to join the Professor for tea.
