A/N: I wrote this drabble, a few months ago, for and I decided to add it here. I hope you like it.
Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, or anything that you recognize, I only own the plot line.
You can't tell!
"Remus, honey. Promise me something though," Lily Evans said to Remus.
"Of course, what is it?" Remus asked, and held Lily's hand as they were sitting on the couch in the Gryffindor Common Room. Everyone else were either outside, or in Hogsmeade enjoying the weather.
"You can't tell James that were going out!" Lily pecked Remus' cheek. Remus stared into Lily's eyes.
"But, Lily, he's my best friend, I tell him and the other Marauders everything." Remus said, Lily looked up at him with a sort of puppy-dog eye look. "OK, fine, I'll try, for you." Remus smiled and kissed his girlfriend.
"Thank you." Lily said. She leaned closer to Remus and cuddled him, he did the same and kissed her again. But this time it was long and tender.
But what they didn't know was that someone had entered the room. He stood there with an open mouth staring at the two. James' face went red.
"Moony!" He yelled. Remus and Lily broke away with a start; they looked around to see James fuming.
"James, it's not what it looks like!" Remus said, quickly to defend himself and Lily. Lily rolled her eyes discretely, 'That has to be the worst excuse ever!' she thought to herself.
"No, it's exactly what it looks like. Remus, I can't believe you. You were there that day when the Marauders made the pact! 'Don't date girls, fellow Marauder's like, they're OFF-LIMITS!'" James screamed the last word.
"You don't own me Potter! I can date whoever I want, without you having to security check them every time!" Lily said loudly and angrily.
"I can't believe you would break the Marauder's code! You've changed, and it's not a good change, Remus, you should know that." James looked on the verge of tears. And with that he stormed up to his Dormitory.
"Remus?" Lily said carefully. Remus was still on the couch, Lily was standing up, he looked shocked with himself.
"I can't do this. James is right, I broke the code. I have to-" Remus said, but Lily kissed him to shut him up.
"I don't care about the stupid code. Everyone should be able to go out with whoever they want." Lily argued, she pulled away from Remus and sat with her arms crossed. "Potter's being unreasonable." Remus kissed Lily one last time and went to bed.
