It was a clouded night, the only light was the dimly lit street lamp that was at the corner of the alley way. Hidden from sight was Tanith Low. She was waiting for a man to whom she had arranged a meeting with. And he was late.

Not for the first time, Tanith grinned to herself. Well, the Remnant inside her did. It had been lucky getting a body like Taniths; very strong and very fast. Of course Tanith would of never chosen herself to feel the evilness of her possessor, but she never had a choice in the matter. It was over eight months since it had dived inside her mouth and took control so it was well and truely bonded to her. There was no way Tanith could return to her original state, except for one. It was ancient magic, that was rarely ever heard of anymore. "Even better for me" Tanith giggled in a medium pitched voice. He tousled blonde hair was whipping across her face in the wind.

Tanith was planning on visiting Valkyrie again and sometime soon. She adored Valkyrie, even though the feeling wasn't mutual ever since she had a remnant inside of her. It was ashame that Valkyrie couldn't see why she should live the way Tanith lived is the right way, but oh well, she would get her to change her mind eventually. Striding towards her was the man she was waiting for, he was tall with dark hair and was walking with a long black cane that seemed to attract darkness. As he stepped into the light of the street lamp the first thing you noticed was that his cane seemed to attract darkness.

"Hello Tanith." The man said wearily

"Solomon, your late" she said curtly

Solomon didn't seem that bothered that he was late, actually he seemed fairly amused.

"You should be glad I came at all, why have you called me here tonight? I assume it's not just to say hello" the man called Solomon asked

"I want to be a necromancer!" Tanith blurted out "I really think that it would bring me to the height of my powers" Tanith grinned slyly and muttered something that sounded a lot like 'and the evil inside of me!'
A look of worry shooted across Solomon's face, but it disappeared as soon as it came and went into a mask of indiference. In the dark light, no one could of possibly seen it. He pondered on her words for a long time.

"very well then" said Solomon finally "I would be able to teach you, meet me here in exactly a weeks time and i will give you instructions on how and when we will start your training."

Tanith looked shocked, her face told him that she wasn't expecting that answer straight away, or at all. The sides of his mouth twitched like he was trying to suppress a smile.

"Expecting a different answer, were we Tanith?" said Solomon, sounding amused

Tanith's face quickly changed her expression, hiding her shock. "Not at all"

His face twisted into a wry smile and without another word the man called Solomon tapped his cane and the Darkness from the cane gathered around him engulfing him complete, and when it scattered he was gone.
