Gonna give this a go, first time writing an actual story. Planning to update every few days so please review :D
Set after the war (the anime) and before the last and boruto stuff.
Everyone was more than glad for the war to be over, getting back into village life was something everyone had to get used to however they all managed somehow. Even Sasuke. Shikamaru was basically sleeping all day now, Naruto was basically the ramen shop, Sasuke spent his time with Naruto but didnt eat as much as him and everyone else did basically what they normally did.
Naruto POV
Beep Beep Beep. My alarm clock goes off, I get out of bed and turn it off. Walk over to the bathroom, brush my teeth and go wake up Sasuke who's still asleep on my couch. I let him stay with me since he dosn't have a house, with pain destroying the entire village no one rebuilt the Uchia residence simply because there were no Uchiha.
"Wake up" I say to him while nudging him on the shoulder. He slowly starts to stretch and gives the biggest and longest yawn I've ever seen him do.
"You ready to start training again Naruto?" Sasuke asks me half asleep.
"Yeah, gotta make sure we stay as strong as we are just incase some other shit happens."
After a while of ating breakfast we head out onto the training fields. On the way there we bump into Kakashi, who seems really busy all the time now that he is Hokage.
"Hey Sensai" I wave to him, he looks over and smiles. Well atleast I think he smiled, you can never really tell with that mask on.
We continue to walk and after a bit I have an excellent idea.
"Hey Sasuke lets race to the fields" Sasuke smirks back at me and we both take off. We both run onto some roofs instantly as it is easier to get around up there. Knowing the shortest path to the fields we're both running neck and neck. We exit the populated part of the village and are now racing along a road towards the fields. The fields are up ahead, me and Sasuke both instantly speed up to an incredible pace. Eventually we reach the field and bolt straight into it. We both slow down and come to stop.
"Easy win" Sasuke remarks.
"Your delusional Sasuke, I won that easy fair and square" I reply.
"Your dreaming"
I look around and see Sakura, Hinata, Ino and Temari all sitting at a tree, probably about to start their own training session. All of them were stretching and the only one looking over was Hinata. Her face was a bit pinkish, probably from running to the fields, the hinata house is a good distance from here.
"Hey Hinata, who won?" I ask her. She gives a loud squek and looks down at the ground and her entire face goes bright red.
"Oh crap, I think shes ill. You guys should take her to get checked out" I look over at the rest of the girls but instead of being worried and taking her to get checked out they start giggling for some reason.
"Your so oblivious Naruto" Sakura says.
"What do you mean? Anyway that dosn't matter, who the hell won!" I yell.
"It was a straight up tie" I hear a voice reply to my question from behind me. I turn around and see Shikamaru lazing in the grass looking at the clouds, probably been there all night knowing him.
"Dammit" I say stomping the ground.
After a bit of chatting with Shikamaru me and Sasuke decide to start training at the mountains at the far end of thetraining fields.
