(Kagomes POV)
Today was the one day I hated, more than anything in the world.
Valentines Day.
I looked over at my clock, debating whether I should get up or not. I had work today, but I was planning on calling off sick.
I miss the days of my adventure where I could forget all about this dreadful day. Inuyasha, Shippo, Sango and Miroku would good about not making me think of what day it was.
Yes. I am back in the present, the well, sealed off. I no longer have to worry about Naraku, the jewel shards, and being a miko.
Now I am just Kagome. Sesshomarus secretary.
I have a major crush on my boss. What can I say? He is just perfect. That is why i hate Valentines Day.
Sesshomaru could never be interested in me, a simple human woman. He probably already has a mate.
I tried not to think about that last thought, it would only hurt worse.
I picked up the phone, waiting to hear that sexy voice.
(Sesshomarus POV)
I looked over at the calender. Valentines Day. I knew Kagome was going to call off. This year, I won't let her. I'll make sure she comes here, even if I have to have Inuyasha and Shippo drag her here.
I have decided that I could no longer wait. Today, I will ask for her permission to court her.
Yes, this Sesshomaru is in love with a ningen woman.
The call finally came.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Taisho. I can't come in today. *Cough*." I knew it was fake.
"You are not sick. You will come in today, and you will have lunch with me." I told her in a authoritive voice. She made a small 'epp' and said that she will come. I hung up the phone.
(Lunchtime-Kagomes POV)
"Why did you want me to have lunch with you, Mr. Taisho?" I asked.
"You will call me Sesshomaru. Like you did in the past." He told her. I nodded.
"I know you have a crush on me, Kagome. Will you allow me to court you?" He asked. I blushed, thinking that I am finally getting what I want. I finally nodded once I was able to move from the shock.
As we left he kissed me passionately. I was surprised at first, but once i had gotten over it I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him closer.
I love Valentines Day.
