SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THROUGH MANGA CHAPTER 160. Or something like that. Hey it's another drabble inspired by a song. YAY! Not a song fic, so chill. I kinda wanted to know what Fai was thinking when he agreed to go to Celes, so here it is. My poor Fai baby isn't so cheerful though.

He hadn't wanted to return to Celes, but he couldn't bring himself to abandon Sakura.
Twenty seconds to comply, that was all, then the price was paid to travel to the world the held his doom.
Fai returned to Celes to die.
He just needed a few moments with Ashura, or maybe Kurogane would snap and kill him quickly.

As long as Sakura was safe and Ashura was destroyed, he could rest.
