Hanabusa's Diary

(Warning. Yaoi shipping.)

November 12

Kaname-sama is still upset with me after what I did to Yuki-chan. It was only a little bite, but she is his. I had no right to take her blood. I am simply jealous of Yuki-chan. Wait- no! I am not jealous! I just think that Kaname-sama deserves better than a silly human girl. Member of the Disciplinary Committee, indeed!

Oh, what am I kidding? I am jealous. Kaname-sama loves her, and not me. He dotes on her every word. She is his most precious flower, and I am his servant. Such is the power of a pure-blood. I should not care for him. He is my superior, my master. He is not, and never will be, my lover. And that is final. Hanabusa Aido, put those thoughts from your mind!

Aido sighed and closed his diary, stashing it underneath his mattress where he always hid it. He gazed out into the dark night, the candlelight reflecting on the darkened glass. He could still hear Kaname's voice echoing through his mind.

"You will go help Ruka. I do not want you in my sight at this moment. Out."

He was dismissed as easily as that. Hanabusa felt a tear drop to the floor, surprised. He did not cry. He would not cry. Never. Not over Kaname-sama!

"Hanabusa?" he heard a knock at the door. The voice was smooth and entrancing, and extremely familiar.

"Y-yes, Kaname-sama! O-one minute!" Aido began hastily straightening up the room, tossing old silver spoons under the bed and placing the candelabra on its base. When he spun to open the door, he found himself already face-to-face with Kaname Kuran.

"Hanabusa, why are you up here alone? Why not down in your classes? Are you not feeling well?"

Aido felt a flutter in his stomach, and forced himself not to stutter.

"I just wanted some time alone to… collect my thoughts and put them in order, Kaname-sama. I will come down to my classes now if you want me to."

"No, that isn't necessary, Hanabusa. Is this what you were collecting your thoughts in? Do you mind if I read it?" With that, Kaname held up Aido's leather-bound diary.

Hanabusa blanched.

"N-n-no, Kaname-s-sama, I- what I mean is-" he sighed. "I cannot stop you from it if this is what you desire."

"Thank you, Aido," Kaname said, nodding slightly and opening to the most recent entry. Aido sank to the bed in slight horror, his head in his hands. Before long, he heard Kaname's voice again.

"Hanabusa? Aido, look at me."

Aido looked up, tears stinging his eyes. Kaname had a slight grin on his face, and he held up the book to a drawing that Hanabusa had done when he was very young. It was a drawing of Kaname and him, both in black tuxedos, getting married. Aido blushed.

"I didn't want you to know," Hanabusa whispered, hanging his head once again. He felt a hand push his chin up, and felt Kaname's soft lips on his. Aido immediately wrapped his arms up around Kaname's neck, who in turn picked him up and threw him roughly to the bed, kicking the door shut.

"And why not?" Kaname asked, kissing up Aido's neck, making him whimper.

"I thought you would h-hate me for it," Aido forced out as Kaname bit him lightly on the neck, not drawing blood, just sending a shiver up Aido's spine.

"I could never hate you," Kaname answered, kissing Aido again and slipping his tongue into his mouth. Hanabusa moaned loudly, tugging Kaname's hair. He pulled back briefly, and gasped, "What about classes?"

"Classes will be there tomorrow. I have waited too long for this." And with that, Kaname shoved his hand down Aido's pants…
