Buffy and Spike
Xander, Willow, Giles, Dawn, Harmony
Xander (sixth season)
Sick
Sick and twisted. That's how vampires are, and that's what Spike is. A sick and twisted individual. And he should have never had a chance, a shot in the dark with Buffy. I honestly thought her better than that. That's one relationship that's doomed before it even goes anywhere. Originating by some twisted obsession and misunderstanding of feelings that can't exist. At least Angel had a soul. He had that going for him, no matter how little it was. Sex to feel alive is not love. A chip does not equate love.
I can handle a lot, hell I'm dating an ex-demon who was originally summoned to take vengeance on me. But Spike with Buffy is not something I'll tolerate. On any level.
Willow (seventh season)
Strange
It's still a little strange to see him sitting here with the rest of us while we discuss Scooby things. It's weird thinking of him as part of the team. I keep flashing back to when he kidnapped me to preform that love spell, or the time, or many times he tried to kill Buffy. But then I look at him now, how he looks out for her, looks at her. He's obviously in love. And it's strange.
Stranger even that sometimes she returns his looks with similar ones of her own.
Giles (seventh season)
Stupid
She's bloody stupid. Always has been, but Spike has to be her most stupid venture yet, soul or not. It was bad enough that once upon a time they almost got married. She knows that Spike is dangerous, even if he has changed, even if he does have a soul. It's irrelavent if he can be controlled through completely different means. Yet in true Buffy fashion she chooses to remain stubborn and defend him. I don't even think she loves him the way he does her but she's bent on trying it seems. And one of these times she going to get us all bloody well killed for it.
Dawn (fifth season)
Sham
I don't see why anyone else can't see it. Obviously Spike is in love with Buffy. There's always been an attraction between them. Even back when he was with Drusilla. Yeah sure, it probably started with him just wanting to do her, but it's grown since then. Especially once he got that chip put in his head. He tries to hate her, but any moron can tell he really doesn't. It's just too bad she hates his guts, and the only reason she'll even leave me in his presence is because she knows he can't do anything to me. It's also too bad he thinks there's more to it.
Harmony (fifth season)
Second
I never thought I'd come in second to Buffy Summers. That freak of all people. Spike is way too cool to be with her. Then again, if he can't see what he has in me, then maybe they deserve each other. Two people who don't know what they have. It's not enough that Buffy had the older hunk in high school, and the military cutie out of, but now she needs some of my Spikey as well. And then Spike not only left that Drudzilla, but also me of all people, for the slayer! They're perfect for each other. They'll just keep pushing away everyone until all they have left is each other. Then the'll realize that they can't stand each other and they'll have nothing.
And in the end I'll win, because I'll be better off for it. Besides, I hear Wolfram and Heart is hiring.
