Justice and Mercy
I could have obliterated
Every part of him,
And everyone had told me
That I should.
He had killed so many;
He deserved the same;
And I was chosen to be the hand of justice.
But what is justice without mercy?
Can I be better than he is?
I took away his power,
I took away his crown,
But I left him with his life.
