It's a cold winter as Rin Kagame was strolling down the street where the cherry blossom itself was not blooming. She stood there and sighed, as it was her first winter that he was not there with her. She was silent yet cold and stared at the cherry blossom that had not yet bloomed. Just then her best friend miku came and gave her a big hug. "No time no see Rin, I missed you so much" as her best friend is jumping up and down for joy. "Miku we had seen each other yesterday" Rin responded as she tried her best to smile.
"Hey Rin are you okay you seem so down" Miku herself looking really concern for her best friend. Rin nodded "yes Miku I'm okay but I think I need some alone time right now, We can hangout another time?" Miku was relief yet still worry about Rin. "Piko is hosting a party next week you should come, and maybe you can find someone special in your life again." Miku said. Rin was trigger as no one can never not even in a million years replace him, but Rin remain calm because she doesn't want to get mad at Miku because they were besties which it included Rin,Miku and Him.
As Miku went the opposite direction, Rin felt like her hand is being trapped in ice cubes but yet his warmth remained. Thinking back from the past in the park where she was playing in the sandbox. Two adult came to her as one with blue hair and another with red hair. She was frightened, fearing for her life as she tried to run but instead they caught her then pin her down. She was struggling to get out as her mouth was covered to prevent her from screaming for help. Just then a blonde haired boy with a short pony tailed tackle one of the man. It wasn't long as it was over as he was all in bruises from there punches. But yet he had saved her from being raped as such a young age.
She was crying telling him if he was alright. He gave a brightest smile that she has
ever seen in her life in which created a spark in her head that he was her knight in shining armor. As years and years has gone past they confessed to each other which soon would had been that happy ending until that one fateful day. It had happened last winter where he had suffer from a unknown illness that can't be cured but still he was smiling knowing that his life is going to end. He remain strong until his very last breathe and his last words were. " I'm glad I have met you". Just by remembering those word gives Rin a weird sensation
in her stomach. What is it? Guilt,Sorrow,Anger? But she knew it was her being in deep pain, having mix emotion as she felt tears in her eyes. As his warmth on her hand was fading away in the winter. In which memory of him began to fade away in the cold. She burst out crying under the cherry blossom. She mutter "Why did you leave me so early". She was in a lot of pain as the memories and his warmth had completely faded away through the winter.
The winter was over. Spring quickly came back as the cherry blossom itself quickly bloomed. She look up as she see the beautiful cherry blossom came back alive as multiple cherry blossom petals had flew through the sky. She see a carving on the tree itself as it had a heart with both Rin and Len name on it with a final message that Len left behind. For that very moment Rin smiled and look at the cherry blossom that both of them loved.
