The Strongest Magic of All
Chapter 1: The Letter
A tear ran down Albus Dumbledore's face. Two of his former students and member of the order of the phoenix were dead by Voldemort's hand. And now there was only one thing left to do. If he was to make sure that Harry would live to adulthood with all the death eaters still around, he had to find a home for Harry that was connected with his mother's blood, the blood that was spilt to save his life. And as he was about to write the inevitable letter that would sentence young Harry Potter to ten dark years with a family that he knew would not want him when a letter appeared on his desk.
Picking it up he read,
"Dear Professor Dumbledore,
If you are reading this letter than Lily and I have been killed. God willing, our Harry is not with us. In our death we wished to divulge our family secret. In our sixth year, Lily gave birth to our daughter. Because we were still in school and Voldemort's followers had just killed my father, we decided that it was safer for our daughter to be given up for adoption. We apologize for our deception, but we did what we thought was best. We were going to retrieve our daughter as soon as the war was over, but with our death that was not to be. Our wishes is that you approach our daughter's adoptive parents and have them adopt Harry as well, as we know from our correspondence that they are loving muggles and are unable of having their own children. She is about four by now, and I'm sure they would love to accept her little brother. They are James and Claire Frasier of Inverness, Scotland. Please accept our wishes and under no conditions whatsoever are you to place Harry with the Dursleys or we will haunt you to the end of time!
Goodbye good friend,
Lily and James Potter"
Albus Dumbledore, in his advanced years, was not deceived by his students often. The news of Harry's older sister was a shock to him, but a smile crossed his face. The spell that he was going to use to protect Harry required his mother's blood, and his sister had it, not to mention the couple, that had adopted the young girl, were muggles made certain that the boy would grow up unaware of his infamous status. It looks like as soon as he collected Harry from Hagrid, they would be on their way to Inverness.
