I was listening to my iPod...and realised I hadn't done my absoloute favourite of my Lana Del Rey songs!

People, I give you Blue Jeans!

If you thought this was an update, I'm sorry. I've been warned that unfortunatley, song lyrics are not allowed if Fics! Ah well...you will just have to 'keep the song in mind', as the 'warner', so to speak, said.

She walked, alone, the snow surrounding her brilliance, making her blind.

She remembered when he had first become a man, when he first could stand alone,

It had been the happiest day of her life.

And the worst. The worst day.

He could stand alone, so he did not need her anymore.

The smiles, the glorious smiles, and laughter, she had been forced to fake.

That day, she couldn't stop from wishing it was the first day they had met again, when she could hold him,

And promise to stay with him forever.

From a distance now, she could only watch him.

She could not spend more than a few seconds with him without wanting to throw her arms around him.

For it to be alright again.

She would have to force herself not to.

Like hell her boss could stop them seeing each other. It hurt her to lie, but the more she fooled herself that he wanted her around, the more she would push him away.

So instead, she told herself that it was better for her if she stayed away.

The fools that think it's easier to be friends with the one you love. Quietly, she laughs to herself.

Bitterly, so very bitterly, she weeps. Walks into the house.

She would have given anything to be one of them, to live with him forever.

But then, when he had fallen, he had pushed them all away.

She had begged him. Begged.

Nothing. He didn't even respond when she swore to never return.

All he said was that one day they would meet again.

Forever and a day, she would have waited for.

But business took her brother.

Her love.

Cursed wars.

She couldn't even return the favours he did, does, for her.

Alone, she cries.

She loved him more than anyone, but she couldn't even look after him.

And yet, she knew, he didn't want her to.

How could it have come to this? The one she was meant to care for, turning the tables.

She had lost count of the days she had been in the house, refusing to let go of memory.

If she could not have him in life, she would have him her mind.

But even when they had been together, he had left, every night.

She knew that was how it would be.

So she stood by him, regardless.

Cause Imma ride or die"…those words.

And no matter what the outcome was,

As long as had strived for it, she was by him.

Remembering, again, the fall, and the day he no longer needed her.

She had wanted him. Not money.

The firelights, and laughter.

When he was a child.

But then he was gone.

Now, she cried, and now she sang.

Sang the truth.

Grief for him, for her, shaking through her.

And he had always belonged to her.

So hers he would stay.

Out of nowhere, the a knock on the door.

She pauses, faltering. The voice again, but she sings on, opening the door.

And he whispers, holding her like Yekaterina, like Katyusha, like Katya, would hold him. He whispers.

"Bol'shaya sestra ... Ya doma.."

The last bit translates as "Big sister...I'm home." She's meant to be singing the song this was based on.

I did attempt to make it unclear as to who she was until the end...probably failed but meh xD.

Review?

Flames...will be used to stoke your funeral pyre.
