Dani woke up in a rather wide space and tried to remember what had happened earlier, but to no avail. He brushed his ash blond hair out of his face so he could see a little better. 'Damn, where am I?' he thought as he felt a light breeze on his back. As he began feeling more awake, his memory began unblurring a bit.

The room was dark, but he could make out several other figures along with a mysterious entity with them. "Time will run out," they had said. "you must find your guardians and defeat the cause of this." "What if we don't?" A quiet, femenine voice had questioned from a corner of the room. The figure turned to her, and she flinched. "Then, child, things will never be the same." He remembered wondering what would happen, and swore he heard the term "Guardian" before. Several times in fact. He then felt himself fading, his vison became dark...

...And he looked down at his necklace. It had always been around his neck for as long as he could remember. 'Wow, that sure sounds like the start to a bad book.' His mind quipped. But, unlike bad books, he knew exactly what this necklace meant and was for. It was for nothing, it was really just a skull carved out of wood and attached to a cord. What it meant, however, was of much more importance. The whole 'Guardian' thing related to it, and this was kind of a marker as to who his Guardian was. This would be great help in a really long, and possibly boring journey. But, every journey starts with the first step, so he got up and began walking.
