You know you sometimes wonder what it would be like if aliens came to Earth? Stop dreaming it happened. My name is Justin and my friends Kieron, Jackie, Danielle, and Sam are the kids that witnessed this weird phenomenon in the park one night. A place where we obviously shouldn't have been.
Chapter 1 A Weird Start:
"Hey Danielle! Throw the Frisbee over here!" yelled Jackie. We were playing Frisbee like normal teenagers do around Mayfield. It was boys against girls. It was unfair teams but who cares? "Pass it over here! HEY!!," yelled Sam as I dove in front of her catching the Frisbee just in time. " Here!," I screamed throwing the Frisbee to Kieron. He caught it. Then we noticed that the sun had gone down while we were playing. Jackie was the first one to notice a ball of light in the sky that as it came closer to Earth, I became bigger! "Hey guys! Look at the UFO!" She yelled. "Run for the trees," Kieron and Sam both yelled. We ran like the wind to the trees as it came closer. The UFO ran right into the ground. It steamed and the lights flickered. I peered around the rock. We all stared at the UFO. The door started to open slowly as steam or smoke came out of the door with blue light flowing out along with it. An alien walked slowly out. If centaurs were real, this would be a really close cousin or something. It had blue fur, no mouth, and a pair of eyes on its head where ours usually are, and stalk eyes. Did I mention it had no mouth? Then I saw its tail. It was like a huge scorpion tail but it had a long sharp blade at the end instead of a stinger. Then I heard a voice in my head. It said, Don't be afraid Earthlings(Why do all aliens call us Earthlings?) I will not hurt you. "Am I becoming scitsofrenic?" asked Kieron aloud. This is thought-speak. Since all the races of the Andalites have no mouths, we use thought-speak. Here please touch a side of this blue cube. I haven't much time I looked at his side and said," Oh my god! He injured! Danielle both your parents are vets can't they HELP!!!" No I will die anyway this wound is fatal. I haven't much time. Touch the cube. There was sorrow in his voice and we did as we were told watching the long sharp blade. We each put one hand on one side of the blue cube together. A tingling sensation filled me. You must go now. Listen first. The Yeerks have come to destroy you. They aren't human. They are. He drifted off. We saw a picture in our mind. It was a gross looking slug thing. " I'm guessing that was a Yeerk," Danielle said. You must go! Hide Visser Three is coming we ran. I looked back. Kieron was sitting next to the Andalite. Suddenly, he fell back ward and ran with us. I looked up in sheer horror as another huge ship landed. From behind the rocks, we saw the door open. An Andalite stepped out. Visser Three the good how much I stress GOOD Andalite said. Whoa, if he can hear us we're dead meat, I said. He can't hear you if you don't direct your thoughts to him. I saw some huge tall weird scary looking things with blades. Hork-Bajir. Very nice creatures despite their looks. . Then we saw huge fat caterpillars with many legs loping around. Taxxons. Pure evil. The evil Andalite walked over to the good Andalite. Well, well, well. If it isn't Prince Elfangor-Sinnial-Shamtul. What a great honor it is to meet you your highness. Now I will destroy you! He said. He started to morph. He grew. I forgot to tell you. You may only stay in a morph foe two hours. Good-bye friends. His voice trailed off. I stared in horror at Visser Three. He had legs as big as trees. His head was huge with huge white glazing teeth. He had no arms but tentacles. The Hork- Bajir held Elfangor. He took Elfangor up in one tentacle and opened his mouth and I didn't see what happened next because I ran. Everyone ran.
