Winter Heart
My world became an everlasting winter,
As he said words so bitter.
I loved him with all my heart,
But he tore it apart.
He never truly loved me...
And we could never be...
I was foolish enough to be used.
The love I gave him was abused.
I can't believe my sister was right.
And to think that he was the cause of our fight!
What happened to the man I cherished?
How can he let me be perished?
Gone were the sweet nothings whispered in my ear,
leaving behind a man who made his intentions very very clear.
I realized with a start,
just how fragile is my winter heart...
