Will listened as his girlfriend talk to her boss on the phone, it was Sunday and they both had to work tomorrow, so she would be heading home later that night. He rolled his eyes for about the fifth time when JJ looked over at him, he was more annoyed that the call didn't seem so important that it couldn't wait until tomorrow and he only had a couple more hours with her. He also didn't understand how Hotch's wife could not be annoyed, he should be spending time with his family not talking to JJ. When she hung up the phone, she sat down on the phone with apologetic smile on her face.

"I am sorry, I know we only have a couple more hours together."

"I am not mad."

"Then what because something is wrong."

"Honestly?"

"Yes, we said we would always be honest with each other."

"I know that your job is important to you and that your team is a family. I don't understand why Hotch would call you on a Sunday to discuss things for tomorrow when he has a wife and kid he could be spending time with."

"You are right the team is like a family. Hotch calls so that I don't walk into the office tomorrow and get blindsided by some of the cases. He worries that sometimes the cases are too much for me, but I am sure it is not easy on his family."

"Why does he worry so much about you?"

"He is the one that recruited me and he looks at me like a little sister, so I think he blames himself for me seeing some of the things that I have. Most of our cases involve women around my age and most our blonde." She paused in the middle of her explanation.

Will shook his head, he wanted to know everything about her including what was going on with her job.

"I work with the whole team but I work the closest with Hotch because of reports and picking cases but he always has my back when I pick case that the team may not agree with and I try to take some of the stress off of him when the team has issues. Morgan calls us Batman and Robin when he thinks I can't hear him. Part of me hopes it makes it easier for him to go home to be with Haley and Jack."

"Does it make it easier on you?"

"He makes it easier for me to be more comfortable with the cases that we do not take. Hotch has helped me understand that we can't take them all even if I think we should. But you are the reason that I can get up every morning and no that I am doing the best I can." As she cuddled up next to him.

"I love you." Before he kissed her head.

"I love you."

The sat there for a couple of minutes in a comfortable silence, before Will asked the next question.

"Why Batman and Robin?"

JJ laughed before answering.

"Emily told me that Morgan says it for two reasons. The first is that we always have each other's backs. The second, which I think is the real reason, is because Hotch is big and hardly smiles kind of the mysterious can you guess what I am thinking while I'm always trying to make the best of the situation by pointing out any good but I'll fight if I have too."

Will started laughing.

"I guess I should get used to you being Robin but you are always going to be my girl."

"That is my favorite role."

She stayed in his arms the rest of the day.
