In a fit of rage, Riku takes Soul Eater, strikes Kairi down in a single blow, and just watches while the shadows fester around her and take her whole. As first this doesn't seem to faze him, but when the consequence of what he's done finally sinks in, Riku screams in agony, throws his sword across the room, and fall to his knees.
