Skip the Beat

LANCE McCLAIN. A seventeen-year-old male who's becoming a dancer with only five years of experience. He is prideful and self-encouraging. He only has a matter of time till he gets first. KEITH KOGANE. An eighteen-year-old male with spunk and attitude towards whomever shows him up. His brother, Shiro, and him have been dancing together since Keith was three. His glory awaits.

Prologue

Lance McClain

My name is Lance McClain, I'm a new dancer who has put a lot of effort into becoming one. I've been dancing for five years now, since I was twelve, and I specialize in Hip Hop and Classical dance.

If I am being honest, I'd rather would've known Ballet than Hip Hop, because Ballet is pretty freaking awesome, but Hip Hop was a better chance, and I would never take out Classical. And also my mom only allows me to have two genres of Dance. Stupid, I know.

Anyway, now my five years of dancing have paid off, because I'm going to the finals on June 6th. Only a few made it to this rank, and I'm going to make sure those few are blasted into pieces by my next performance.

They let us have a month to prepare for each round for some strange reason, but that reason was probably anxiety. A small bit have dropped out because of the long wait, and I'm expecting at least one other to in the final round.

But, enough about me. What about all than others? And how I'm going to win - most likely? Let's get on with the story, it's the thing giving me anxiety.

Prologue is basically not a story type of Prologue. It's more of Introduction. PoV changes may happen between the whole story, but that's because this story is going to be set up like a Novel created by the characters whom were actually there. That's my goal.
