Nate woke up in a cold sweat, shakin' by his dream. Sophie had been in it, lying in his arms, in his bed.

"That was weird," Nate muttered to himself as he pulled on a pair of trousers.

Grabbing a t-shirt out of the drawer and pulling it on, Nate wondered what it would be like to have Sophie in his arms.

"No Nate, stop it!" Nate hissed at himself, "we're just friends and work partners, nothing else"

But the question kept niggling at him all day.

"Nate... what's wrong?," Sophie asked as he sat by himself in the room.

"Nothing," Nate muttered, not looking at Sophie

"Come on Nate, I know when something's wrong a mile away! Now bloody hell tell me," Sophie laughed, taking a seat beside him

"Well I like someone, but I'm not sure she likes me back..." Nate whispered, feeling Sophie thrust a tissue into his hand.

"She'll like you Nate, don't worry, everyone likes you. Well maybe not Sterling. Don't get yourself worked up about it, ok?" Sophie smiled giving Nate's hand a squeeze as he looked at her with glistening eyes.

"Thanks Sophie," Nate smiled.

Lifting his eyes up from the table of the bar. He saw Sophie walking towards Him.

"Soph, fancy coming over to mine tonight, having a catch up?" Nate asked, hoping she would say yes.

"Ye that would be good," Sophie smiled as Nate let go of her wrist," let me just get these things done."

"Ok, good. I'll meet you at your apartment," Nate beamed, watching Sophie walk away.

"Sophie, what do you want to drink with your curry? Wine or water?" Nate shouted through to the living room from the kitchen

"Oh wine please Nate, you have good taste in wine" Sophie laughed, looking at all the pictures Nate had of her and the team on the walls. His only family.

"Dinner is served!" Nate shouted back through.

"Great." Sophie called.

"Um, Nate this is damn good, what is?" Sophie asked, pausing to look into Nate's eyes.

Feeling his heart flutter, Nate took a deep breath and replied," Eh, chicken Sophie, thought you would have known that!"

"Nate! I knew that," Sophie giggled,"I mean what sauce is it or what dummy."

"A red pepper sauce I found in a book, its really nice isn't in" Nate smiled as his heart slowed down a bit.

"I better call it a night then Nate, thanks for dinner" Sophie smiled, leaning over a giving Nate a soft peck on the cheeck.

"Your welcome Sophie," Nate gushed as Sophie leaned away.

"See you tomorrow," Sophie called as she disappeared out of his front door.

"By Sophie," Nate called back.

Then he whispers,"Love you."

Nate then felt someone hug him and as soon as he turn his head he saw Sophie hugging him and Sophie said.

"I love you to-."Sophie was cut off by a passionate kiss by Nate not just a passionate kiss but a kiss that Sophie would and should remember for a long time.

"Can we continue this inside Soph.?"Nate said with a smile.

"Ok,Lover Boy."Sophie said.

As the night goes deeper Nate and Sophie make love and He will make sure that He and Sophie will be happy forever and ever.
