Originally for the jackoneill100 drabble challenge: dragon. But it just got too weird, and a bit too long.
Yes, I admit this fic is a bit on the wacked side. Hey! I wrote it while trying to fall asleep. Hell, it took me near an hour to decipher my sleepy handwriting. Some parts I just guessed on.

Disclaimer: nu uh...
Right. If, like most people, you could't tell who the dragons where, they were Jack and Daniel. Sorry. Borderline crack!fic here...
Might expand more on this thing...Hmmm..or at least, probably write a side story...
------------------------------
Two lovers intertwined, and reaching, and grasping, and wanting, and trying to become one. One reckless smile, a hidden gleam, and they were falling, twisting, turning, writhing, in a dizzying spiral that tore apart their already tattered minds. And they found each other, and curled themselves into one; dragon wings folded tightly, spiked tails and maned heads held straight and they fell with such dizzying accuracy that the shadows started to leap and play with anticipation. And as the ground rushed up to meet them, and as they fell, they clutched ever tighter, as the earth rushed up to meet the two dragon-men, they wore matching, insane shadow-driven grins. They were gripping so tightly, so very, very tightly, that their claws left gouges, bleeding, red, red, fiery and this time the phoenix would not be resurrected. And, like a comet's tail, a fireball's darkness, a shadow's silence, the gleaming, burning, crimson flowed out behind them, a banner upon the sky, tearing apart the wind, bathing the moon red. And, even if they wanted to, they couldn't save themselves now.
And, the world stood still.
And they crashed into the earth, shattering the world and sky. And, their bodies lay battered and broken upon the dusty, cracked ground. Their wings lay limply against their sides. Two lovers, intertwined, clutching and grasping and so close they seemed as one as they lay beaten. And, never again would they soar, would they live, as the light in their slitted eyes dimmed and faded, and they would never know, again, the pure, unadulterated joy of riding the wind while the rain fell from the stars. Never again would they dance under the night shadows while blood ran so freely down from a crimson moon. Never again. Becauseā¦
Becauseā¦
Because...
A dragon with broken wings ceases to fly.

Used that quote again. Mmm..love it. Read my newest drabble if you don't get it. It came out at the same time this fic did.
