When I was a young Boy

I thought of my mother, would she be proud of me? I died protecting the ones I loved.

My father took me into the city

My father took us to the park many times, to have fun like a normal family. That all changed because of me.

To see a marching band

We would always see the fireworks. The best and saddest festival was the one the day before we went to save Rukia.

He said " Son when you grow up,

Would you be the savior of the broken,

Beaten and the damned?"

I thought of Orihime, Rukia, and all the people (and souls) That I saved from damnation and hell.

He said, "Will you defeat them,

Your demons and all the non-believers,

The plans that they have made?"

He finally defeated Aizen, Gin, Tousen and all those damnable espadas. Today's a good day to die, he thought as he coughed up blood, his vision hazy.

Because one day I'll leave you,

A phantom to lead you in the summer.

He remembered an American tale that his mother once told him. It said that a black parade would come and get him once he passed.

To join the black parade.

I have no regrets, he thought as he joined the group in black marching uniforms.
