Author's Pre-Story Ramble: Well, I feel like I'm on a roll, so let's see what else I can turn out while I'm in the creative mood. Once again, I am at the mercy of my reviewers' perspectives, because I am not really well informed on Yu Yu Hakushou either. But, from what I've seen and pieced together of this character, he is one of my favorites because of his mysterious allure and devious nature. He probably will be OOC, but regardless I hope you enjoy my interpretation of Shuuichi Minamono akaYouko Kurama.

A soft step informs me of the buyer's approach. Putting my hand in my coat pocket, I retrieve the article resting there. "So you have it, then?" asks the taller man. His features are hard to discern, due to the darkness of the alley, the several layers of clothing hiding most of the details of his body, as well as the scarf that covers half his face and a hat hiding his hair. The only real feature I could see was his very black eyes that looked as hard as someone in his line of work would have to be. My own identity was quite well concealed, since I did not want anyone knowing who I was.
"Yes, as promised," I reply archly with an eyebrow raised. The unspoken adomition told the dark-eyed man that I was displeased that my buyer even presumed to suggest that I could not attain the item, not matter how well guarded it had been. I may be human now, but my skills from my previous life as Yokou Kurama were not dimmed. Especially considered how easy it was to fool human technology, as compared to the more complex and dangerous magic used in the Makai. My buyer came closer to me, and held out a package of his own. Sending out a thread of yoki to investigate it, I found nothing subversive or dangerous about it. I accepted the package with one hand, while giving my own bundle to the mysterious man.
To his own credit, he did not check the article to asure himself that it was the right thing. Apparently, my comment earlier correctly told him that it would be unwise to do such a thing in my presence. "You have our thanks." The man nodded curtly, then stalked back out the way he arrived. I smiled to myself. The seed I planted in the necklace would let me know where it went, so I could later retrieve it and expose the rest of the yokai nest to Yusuke and the rest of the gang. One problem eliminated, on to the next one.

Author's Post-Story Ramble: I don't know quite how that'd work out, but let's just pretend it happened, ok? I have a feeling that Yusuke and the others (except perhaps Hiei (another favorite of mine)) would not have the patience or guile to work out a complicated set up like that. But, you never know, maybe it could happen. Just nod and smile. :P Please review and tell me what you think. Ciao!
