The Villain is Flying

This was a random thought that popped in my head. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: DC owns the Titans and Villians. Too bad I got my grubby little hands on 'em.

Location

Secret hidout (2547 North Central Ave.)

"Finally, the Titans will fall before my power. Not even the author knows of my plan." Slade smiled behind his mask as he stood in front of his newest creation/scheme/mindless plotting. "Nothing will stop me now." What the device before him actually did, only he knew. Heck, like he said, I have no clue what it is... But that doesn't really matter. Not when the super-secret base of operations that held every item he needed began to shake. "What the!"

Massive steel beams, wood, and rock came crashing down around him, sending him scrambling for an exit. Slade ran as fast as his legs could carry him, all while flipping over debris and dodging pieces of the falling ceiling. When he finally made it to the safety of the outdoors, turned to see the entire building (an abandoned warehouse... how original) engulfed in a massive black shadow. "So, the Titans have finally lowered themselves to sneak attacks... The nerve." Suddenly, the ground beneath him began to rumble violently. He looked down. "My, that's not good."

The manhole cover shot high into the sky taking Slade with it.

"Robin! I see a unidentifiable entity of undetermined origin soaring through the sky."

"You mean a UFO Star."

"For some reason, that thing reminds me of Slade."

"Oh boy, here we go again."

Titans Tower: Main Room

"Whoa."

"Yeah."

"That was... different."

"Don't give me that. You enjoyed every moment."

"It was stupid."

"How so?"

"You could've been..."

"Hurt? C'mon Rae, it was just a kiss. Besides, nothing happened!"

"Don't call me that Garfield."

"Touché."
