You'll Live

Forever will I keep you
in my memory
But you don't need
the power of me

I'll hold you
deep within my heart
But you'll be free
to fly upon the wind

Your soul is soaring now
beyond a crystal sky
You see things I will not
for dozens of years to come

I know you cannot wait for me
this world is gone away
Remember me dear friend
as you journey far

I'm crying that I love you
words to see you on
Leave me just one image
of you standing in the sun

I'm letting go now
open my hands and sigh
But now I realize
a part of you within me
