The Downtown City Park Zoo was filled with all kinds of animals. Among these animals were 2 pink spidermonkeys in a large cage. `They were a married couple and the married female seemed to be a bit of the weight side. It would seem that she is pregnant and the male was jumping up and down like a crazed maniac.

"Boy, Oh boy, Blinka," said the male hyperactively, "We're gonna be parents. I can hardly wait!"

"Not so loud, Rinka," said the female while holding her stomach, "you don't wanna stress out the kid."

Rinka immediantly ceased his hyper act. "Sorry honey, I'm just so psyched!"

"So am I," smiled Blinka, "I just hope the baby doesn't come at a worse possible time."

"Me and you both," said Rinka, hugging his wife.

Suddenly, a small brown male monkey made his way to the cage.

"Hi uncle Rinka; Hi aunt Blinka," he said, waving to the monkey couple.

"Cheep-Cheep!" Rinka exclaimed as he came to him, "How's my favorite nephew ever?"

"Not bad," said Cheep-Cheep, "is my new cousin here yet?"

"Nearly there, sweetie." said Blinka, rubbing her stomach.

"Oh man, I hope its soon," said Cheep-Cheep anxiously.

"Me too, sonny," said Rinka before he wen to the other side of the cage, "I'm gonna get some bananna's."

Rinka walked to the bannana plant that was standing just outside the cage. As he walked, he failed to notice a bannana peel nearby and stepped on it, causing him to slip.

"WOAH!"

Cheep-Cheep and Blinka looked hoorified as Rinka crashed on the ground.

"Oh no," said a concerned Cheep-Cheep, running to his uncle, "Are you ok, Uncle Rinka?"

"Fine kiddo," said Rinka sorely yet optimistically, "just a little bit..."

As he got up in mid-sentence, his back cracked.

"OH, MY BACK!"

Cheep-Cheep and Blinka looked even more worried.

"Oh man," fretted Cheep-Cheep, "I hope the baby doesn't come soon!"

Suddenly, Blinka holded her stomach and began screaming in pain.

"I think it might betoo late for that." said Blinka in pain.

"The baby is coming now?!" shouted Rinka.

"YES!" Blinka shouted back.

"Oh no," said Cheep-Cheep nervously, "your both in pain and I can't treat you both at the same time."

"No need," said Blinka.

"Huh?" said Cheep-Cheep and Rinka, confused by her sudden delaration.

"Look." Blinka said as she pointed outside the cage and in comes 2 zookeepeers to the monkey cage. Cheep-Cheep nervously hid ehind a tree that was in the cage.

"Gee wiz," said one of the zookeepers, "looks like Blinka is finally giving birth."

"Yeah," said the other zookeeper, "and it seems Rinka hurt his back."

"Looks like they're both due for the hospital."

"My thoughts exactly."

The zoopeepers took the 2 monkeys to the zoo hospital while Cheep-Cheep watched in anxiety, silently praying for the best.

Cheep-Cheep oaced around his aunt and uncle's cage, waiting for them to return. He heard footsteps and saw that the zookeepers were coming back with his aunt and uncle. Blinka was covered in a towel while Rinka was wearing a cast. They were set back in their habitat (along with the said towel) while the zookeepers returned to their business.

Cheep-Cheeo came to his uncle, "Are you ok?"

"Yep," said Rinka before gesturing to his wife, "And so are they?"

Cheep-Cheep carefully went to his aunt, who was carrying a small female pink spidermonkey in her arms.

Cheep-Cheep looked astonished by the sight.

"Oh my," he said with tears in his eyes, "she looks beautiful."

"She is," said Blinka, "her name is Minka."

"What a lovely name," said Cheep-Cheep lovingly, "may I hold her?"

"Of course," Blinka granted as she handed her daughter over to Cheep-Cheep.

"Hello, Minka," said Cheep-Cheep, "I'm your cousin Cheep-Cheep."

The baby Minka smiled gums at her cousin.

"I think she likes you," said Rinka, coming over.

"I like her too." said Cheep-Cheep as he hugged his cousin. The new parents looked on with glee as Cheep-Cheep gave Minka a rasberry on her belly, making the small pink monkey giggle.
