In the daylight, you don't notice. You don't think about much except getting the job done. You keep your mind focused, your hand on your weapon, your ears and eyes everywhere. Even on base, you're constantly thinking, fixing, doing.

It's times like these...the dark. The quiet. These are the times I can't deal with. Why do I haunt my lab and work into the night?

Dedication? Perseverance? Ever striving to make that one last discovery?
