A/N: I know, I know. No one cares for fan characters. I enjoy writing fanfics with my characters though. Of course, I do enjoy actual pairing and characters more than my own. For example; in Twilight, I love the canon pairings and I love Jacob/Alice. :) I hope you enjoy my characters as much as I do. Also, I don't really care how much sense my character's story clicks into the novels. This is a made up character of my own and I can make her how I want.
Iron Pheonix
Maria Hundren, only twenty-seven years old and a great State Alchemist stationed in Central City under the command of Colonial Roy Mustang. By reputation, Maria is best known as the Iron Pheonix Alchemist.
Her days aren't spent running around, trying to capture criminals for the State. Instead, she stays indoors in the laboratories doing whatever the State commands her to. She chooses to be more of a doctor and scienctist than a solider, studying on different ways her alchemy can be used to help others. Her smarts most definetely outshine her brawn though. Her battles are often won due to her quick thinking and elemental alchemic skills and rarely with her fighting skills.
A very mysterious character she is, with a past that very few people even know. Her eyes, one red and the other blue, and her tan skin make people question if she is of Ishbalan blood though she claims she is from Reole and the red eye was the result of an alchemic project gone wrong. One would believe those are the only things strange about her but when one actually becomes a friend, they discover a secret she doesn't try hard to keep. Her left arm is actually auto-mail, hidden behind a fake skin covering she had invented. The excuse immediately is that of an accident when she was a child though all can figure out that one who covers the missing arm the way she does, has a past with the ultimate taboo.
The auto-mail arm and her great skill in medicinal and elemental alchemy earned her the title of Major Maria Hundren, the Iron Pheonix Alchemist. Her main elemental choice is fire, her love for helping others, and wish to become a doctor make her the shining pheonix of the State. A force not to be reckoned with if you get on her bad side but still a dog of the military knowing that when the leash is attached, she follows every order no matter what it is.
