"Cosima?" Delphine asked, "What are we doing out here?"

"Camping!" Cosima replied with a grin.

"Camping?" Delphine repeated.

"Yes!" Cosima replied happily as she pitched their tent and had it up in about 30 seconds, entering the small tent and placing the centre pole in position.

"What does one do when camping?" Delphine asked, collecting their belonging s from the car and bringing them into the tent.

"Nothing!"

"So what are we going to do?" The prospect of doing nothing was not so appealing, cuddling or watching a movie or star gazing were acceptable and fun but doing nothing was technically impossible.

"Nothing!" Cosima repeated, "Well actually I just wanted to get away from the city and where better to go then out in the open spaces of the national parks! Its quiet and peaceful and you can see the stars! You cant see the stars as much in the city."

"I have noticed this."

"So I thought we'd come here and just relax, just you and me and we'll do what ever we feel like doing! Talking, reading, cloud watching…." Cosima carried on and Delphine just sat and watched her animated girlfriend, "Come on lets set up the hammock!" She says excitedly, pulling out a bag from within her bag.

She hops out of the tent and undoes the top of the bag, tipping out the poles and fabric. Delphine stood beside her and picked up two of the poles that looked like they went together and tried to make them connect. Cosima picked up two more poles and slid them together easily then looked over at Delphine, smiling to herself as she watched Delphine struggle.

Cosima took Delphines hands and turned one of the pole around and then slid them together. They looked at each other and smiled then Cosima let go of Delphine's hands and continued constructing the rest of the hammocks frame. Then Delphine passed Cosima the vibrant folded material and together they strung it out.

Delphine jumped into the hammock as closed her eyes as it swung and then Cosima landed on top of her with an 'ooph'. They laughed together and cuddled under the sky with only the light fluffy clouds and some trees to witness them.

"What is your favourite colour?" Delphine asks randomly.

"The colour of your eyes," Cosima responds easily

"What colour is that?" Delphine teases, her arms wrapped tightly around her girlfriends' waist, making sure she couldn't turn around and peek.

"Green! With A gorgeous sparkling golden brown flowerish pattern in the middle! But they often look darker in low lights."

"That is very flattering," Delphine says in her lovely French accent.

"You deserve flattering," Cosima said, playing with Delphines' hands, "What is your favourite colour?"

"Blue, I love clear blue water even though scientifically I know that the marine ecosystem there is dead, and the blue of the sky…."

"Well the colour of the sky is really only dependant on the angle at which solar illumination travels through the atmosphere in conjunction with the size of airborne particles along with atmospheric molecules and the way our eyes perceive colour." Cosima explains.

Delphine nuzzles Cosima's neck, "You chérie are such a dork," She says lovingly.

"I am your dork," Cosima adds and tips her head back so she can see Delphine.

"Mm, my dork…" She thought about it for a moment because it sounded quite strange, but she liked it. She looked back down at Cosima and kissed her, "Yes, you are my dork,"
