Atem was sound asleep with him head resting on his unconscious aibou's lap who was lying on his bed. Morning had came and Yugi still hasn't regained consciousness and this just made Atem worry even more. Finally when noon came around he heard something; It was the sound of someone stirring from sleep and then rolling off the bed. As soon as Atem heard the big bang he rushed into his room to find his hikari on the floor rubbing his head.
"Yugi! I'm so glad your awake! You had me so worried!" He spoke quickly, but the reply he was about to get was one he didn't expect at all.
"Who are you?" Yugi questioned him.
"Is something wrong aibou?" Atem asked puzzled.
"Who are you?" Yugi questioned him again.
The first thought that popped into his mind horrified him...could it be...no it couldn't...or it is amnesia?!
"So you really don't know who I am?" Atem questioned in a worried tone.
"I'm sorry but no."
Atem let out a sigh before speaking, "Yugi, I'm your boyfriend Atem, the one you said that you loved with all your heart." Upon hearing this Yugi was just shocked.
"Stop kidding around, that can't be true."
"But it is true, I would never lie to my little hikari."
"No it just can't" Yugi said again.
"It is thou-" Atem was cut short of his sentence when Yugi suddenly spoke again. "Please stop telling me this lie! And just leave me alone!" he shouted at him.
Atem filled with shock did what he was told and left. 'Maybe sometime alone will help him, after all what could possibly go wrong?' he thought to himself. When he finally reached down stairs he went straight for the phone to call Ryou and Malirk to tell them to come over as soon as possible.
Once they arrived he questioned them.
"Did you really have to bring those two along?" Atem whispered to them.
Their only defense was, "If we didn't there's no telling how much trouble they would cause."
Atem gave a quick thought about it and knew they were right. He'd just have to tolerate them the best he can. When he told them what happened they were just shocked.
"So he really can't remember who you are?" Ryou asked.
"Yeah, it hurts to know that he doesn't." Atem replied.
"Well do you have any ideas on how to make him remember?" Malirk questioned.
"No not yet."
"Why don't you let me and Marik smack him around a bit, I'm sure it'll work." Bakura suggested.
"Or you could always rape him." Marik added.
Atem just face palmed himself and thought 'yeah only those two psychopathic excuses for boyfriends would think of that.' "Can't you two come up with something a little less destructive and more reasonable?"
"Well do you have a better plan you agront little bastard?" Bakura shot back.
Just then their lights intervened before it got any worse.
"Why don't we try to talk to him?" Ryou suggested.
"Yeah besides its better then what they came up with. Malirk added.
"True, well lets give it a try." Atem said agreeing with the plan.
