BLUTO'S BED
During the summer vacation, Popeye, Olive, and her son, Swimpy, stayed in a huge and beautiful hotel in North Carolina. They enjoyed swimming in the very nice swimming pool with a big slide. They usually went to bed at about 1 o'clock in the morning. The three spent most of their summer days playing, eating and roaming around the hotel.
One night, when the three laid down to sleep, the room's lighting and air-conditioning were going on and off. So Popeye decided to shut the lights and the air-condition off and instead opened the windows for ventilation.
He went back to bed and when he laid down, he felt the bed rising. He sat up to check what was under, which was causing the bed to move. But Popeye was not able to do so because suddenly, the bed started to rock violently. The rocking was too violent that Popeye was thrown on his back from a sitting position. He again felt the bed rising, then it dropped down on the floor with a loud bang.
Popeye, so afraid, checked out Olive and Swimpy on the other bed. The hotel room had two gigantic beds: one for Popeye and the other was occupied by Olive and Swimpy. The mother and son were very much okay and were sleeping and snoring loudly.
Popeye rushed to his cabinet and got his canned spinach. After eating some of the spinach, he lifted the bed by himself and surprisingly found Bluto under the bed. He hit Bluto on the face and kicked Bluto in the stomach. Popeye then hurriedly called the hotel guard and asked the guard to come to their room. When the guard arrived, Popeye narrated the story. The hotel guard arrested Bluto and interrogated him.
Meanwhile, Olive and Swimpy remained very still and asleep.
