A Takeru Takaishi Suspence/ Mystery
By Jacklyn Grace Stone
Author's note: Don't worry!!!!!! I haven't forgot about A Brother's Worth!!!!! I am still in the process of finishing and editing the fourth chapter, 'cause my sister (who happens to be my editor as well) told me what she thought I should change, so I rewrote it, and had her type it up, but then I decided I didn't like it, and.... well, you get the idea. So this is one of my many inbetween projects. You should also start looking for my first yaoi, probably either a Daikeru or Kenkeru, a Digimon murder mystery called Digital Murder, where you have to find the killer (in other words, it's interactive, and will probably be a contest), an untitled Takari AU, and a very strange fic about time travel which I think you'll absolutely love, even though it's probably so clichéd it's painful. Well, I really hope you enjoy this, but I'm seriously thinking about stopping its production (in other words, not writing it anymore), since I'm so swamped lately. If you like it, and want it updated, please either review, or e-mail me at optimiste_obscurite@hotmail.com. I'd really appreciate your reviews and/or comments!!!!!!! J

P.S.- Remember, this is just the prolouge. The first chapter will be much longer.
Prolouge:
Into the Darkness
Takeru stared at his shadowed wall and sighed shakily. Cold sweat glistened on his forehead. His hands were trembling unconrollably. His breathing was steady and irregular.
His door suddenly opened, allowing light to flood into his small, dark room. His brother stood there, concern written all over his features, a glass in his hand.
"You okay, squirt?"
Sadly, Takeru skook his head, a single tear falling silently down his cheek. He felt horrible—mentally and physically.
"Well, here," Yamato said softly, offering the glass, "Drink this. You'll feel much better." Takeru took the glass and bean to drink.
As the last drop of the liquid passed through his throat, Takeru's vision went blurry and the glass slipped from his hand and fell to the floor.
"... much better, indeed..."
And as the glass shattered brilliantly into a thousand pieces on Takeru's floor, his brother's maniacle laughter chased him into the depths of his mind...
The final nightmare has come to pass... and now you die, little one...
