Before Everything Went Black
Summary: She knew that if she was going to die, then she was going to die touching Seeley Booth. BB, totally random fluffy/angsty drabble.
Disclaimer: 'Bones' is the copy-righted work of its writers, producers and Fox. Seeing as I am none of those, I do not own 'Bones'.
A/N: So I know I've got 'How far did you get last night?' to update… I promise I'll get around to it. This week. Maybe even this weekend! That pesky thing called real life kept getting in the way of my writing, but now I've got some time. Inspiration for this hit last night when I was watching my favorite parts of the latest 'Bones' episode over and over again. (I know, I have a problem. Watching Booth slam Brennan against a wall SHOULD NOT be as entertaining as it is.) This though, was my favorite scene, and because I think it deserved a little bit of character development, I wrote this. Enjoy!
She knew that there was a very large possibility that they would not survive. And she also knew that if she was going to die, then she was going to die touching Seeley Booth.
With her last bit of conscious ability she grabbed his hand.
The last thing she heard before everything went black was three gunshots, presumably fired from his weapon.
The last thing she felt before everything went black was his hand on her leg, and his head on her shoulder.
The last thing that he felt before everything went black was her.
He tried to make his mouth form words, because he too was aware that this could be the end.
His mouth refused to move, but his mind was screaming I love you.
A/N 2: Okay, I'm glad I got that out of my system. Thanks for reading and please review.
