A/n The result in listening to 'Forest' by System of a Down, too much lol.
Just a short lil story about Vegeta. Oh yeah I messed up the DBZ time line
once again lol.
Vegeta powered up, and flew toward his opponent. 'I'll kill him for this!' He thought to himself. He didn't know this would be his last battle. He knocked the white creature down and assaulted the figure with a barrage of ki blasts. Goku, Gohan, and a young Goten stood by watching the battle. Goten still had tears in his eyes.
'If only we had listened to our parents none of this would have happened.' Goten thought.
Trunks and Goten had been training and they had ignored what their mothers had told them. 'Be home at noon for lunch' Bulma had told them cheerfully. They left to go train. It got later and later and they didn't go back. Goten remembered running into a huge white figure. Trunks pulled his small sword out and trying to attack it.
"Stupid children." It had said. It grabbed Trunks' sword and stabbed him with it. Goten saw his best friend fall to the ground. He stood there and watched the blood slowly create a pond. Then something in the back of his head told him to run. He did. He ran and ran. Then he saw his father with his big brother and Vegeta.
His eyes were filled with tears and his voice wouldn't work. Before anything was asked or said, Cooler had appered. He was still holding the little bloody sword. All the Saiyans eyes filled with rage. Vegeta rushed toward Cooler and attacked.
Now Vegeta was being pelted with several small, almost powerless ki blasts. Cooler was using those attacks to blind Vegeta. Vegeta recognized the attacks from when he served under Freeza, and blocked Coolers main attack.
Then, suddenly, Cooler disappeared. Vegeta waited for the alien to attack, but nothing happened. Then out of nowhere Cooler appered, with Trunks limp, cold body in his hands "You fucking bastard!" Vegeta yelled at the top of his lungs. Then he rushed at Cooler, not taking note that one of Coolers hands was behind his back.
Goku tried to warn Vegeta, but it was too late. Vegeta got right up to Cooler, and Cooler took the hand that was behind his back and thrust a sword right into Vegetas chest. Goku and Gohan powered up to level three and rushed toward Cooler.
Cooler ignored Vegeta and rushed toward the two other charging Saiyans. Vegeta sat up and looked around dazed. He saw Trunks body lying close to him. He crawled over to the body. He just seemed to notice that a sword was still stuck in his chest. He pulled it out, and out with it came a waterfall of blood. Vegeta winced, but ignored most of the pain.
He picked Trunks up and held him close. "M..my son…" He muttered. He closed his eyes and rocked his son back a fourth for a moment. Soon Vegeta fell over and laid down.
Walk with me my little child.
To the forest of denial.
Speak with me my only mind.
Walk with me until the time.
And make the forest turn to wine.
You take the legend for a fall.
You saw the product.
Why can't you see that you are my child?
Why don't you know you are my mind?
Tell everyone in the world that I'm you.
Take this promise to the end of you.
